It has also migrated to the latest OXID shop system version (OXID eShop 5.0 Enterprise Edition). All processes were rebuilt from scratch, with special emphasis being placed on integrating a strong merchandise management model and incorporating different payment providers and additional third-party service providers. Significant improvements were also made with regard to website performance: by using Elasticsearch, which is an open-source software system that allows large quantities of data to be displayed and searched in real time, pages not delivered from the existing super cache of the host SysEleven are now displayed 500 to 800 per cent quicker. The user benefits from this basic new set-up thanks to pages loading more quickly when executing a search and when filtering articles on all overview pages.
