I built my new portfolio website with a lot of CSS Transitions/Animations. The site was created with progressive enhancement in mind and is therefore compatible with older IE versions. It is completely responsive, multilingual, uses D3.js for visualisation and Typo3 as CMS. The site is heavily optimised to provide fast loading times, because performance matters.
