The South Asian Alliance of Grassroot NGOs (SAAGN) is a regional alliance of grassroot NGOs working in the field of Child Rights in South Asia in the countries of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.The grassroot NGOs which are part of SAAGN share a common vision for the future of children.These NGOs possess a common outlook and philosophy that emphasises democracy, harmony and gender equality as guideposts towards a more inclusive society.These NGOs have been working for varying lengths of time is fields as diverse as child rights advocacy, child labour, education and child participation.
