The Outdoor Cooking project represents the maturation of Classy Llama’s pre-development process — the process that provides a solid foundation before development begins. The Outdoor Cooking team clearly communicated their mission to build a highly effective web property that balanced both a great product experience and robust online user community. To serve this goal, our team developed a deep CMS integration with Drupal that delivers rich content to category and product detail pages. We also developed a custom search solution that leveraged Apache Solr to provide unified integration with both Magento and Drupal. The site launched in October of 2012 and represents a bright future for Outdoorcooking.com!
