What makes Curtain Call unique is its unprecedented access to the wings and backstage areas of West End theatres during performances. Its growing collection of exclusive photography, audio and interviews from cast and technical crew provide a vivid insight into the world of theatre. Our brief was to create a theatre database to showcase both this photography and the profiles of people working in theatre. On the Curtain Call website, theatre folk can create individual profiles, agents can manage talent and producers can promote shows. Cast, crew, creatives and musicians can search, get found and message other members – and theatre fans can fill their boots with stunning images and media not available anywhere else. We developed a bespoke October CMS that allows the client to add this exclusive content, protected by a PayPal subscription payment gateway plus an eCommerce store for purchasing the inaugural 408 page hardback Curtain Call annual.
