Blue Lotus Festival is an unprecedented event focused on presenting the richness of genres and styles of best of Indian Sufi, Folk, Traditional, Gypsy, Tribal, Devotional, Spiritual and Indigenous music from 13th to 18th February 2013. The festival will be celebrated in Pushkar – an ancient town of great cultural and historical importance in Rajasthan, India. Several undiscovered artists from India who have already made their claim to fame on the international front and others who are making beautiful music but are struggling to keep their art forms alive will come together under the misty blue skies of Pushkar to perform live at the Blue Lotus Festival over a period of 6 days. It is a holistic festival where festival goers will be able to participate in workshops with the artists, live art and craft fairs, food carnival, movie screenings, desert safaris and much more.
