45 KILO is a design studio that was founded in 2007 by Philipp Schöpfer and Daniel Klapsing during their studies in product design at Bauhaus–University Weimar. Their work is focused on furniture and interior design and often combines industrialized production processes and materials with crafts in a very reduced and simple visual language. While at 45 KILO they develope new designs, interiors and customized furniture, they founded another label called MY KILOS which concentrates on serial production of a selection of their products.
